Pampers Cruisers versus Luvs Super Absorbent Leakguards

1 1872

Your baby, that cute, bumbling little bundle of joy: you’d do anything for him or her. You’d buy them a new crib if need be, some new pajamas every once in a while. It’s not a question of how much (well, maybe sometimes), but of what’s best.

What’s best for their health? For their happiness? For your sanity?

And while you may have pondered these questions for the objects above, you may not have considered their relevance when it comes to diapers. Pampers and Luvs have, though, and they each think their brand is best for you.

In a battle between Pampers Cruisers and Luvs Super Absorbent Leakguards, let’s find out who’s telling the truth.

Ease of Use
With both brands employing the use of sticky tabs for securing their products, easiness is a commonality. Their shared simplicity might disappoint you. After all, it doesn’t work to ease you into a decision. However, at least if the competition is close, you won’t have to worry about spending more money to buy the “better” brand.

Looks
I tend to prefer the Luvs in this category, simply because their monkey mascot is just so darn cute. Always smiling and performing shenanigans on the diaper canvas, he provides some serious solace when you find yourself removing the repulsiveness from within his home. That’s not to say that Pampers are horribly unattractive. Their Sesame Street designs are cute as well, and surely fans of the series will appreciate the images.

Unfortunately, Oscar the grouch scared me as a child, sending me running into the arms of a large purple dinosaur with oddly blunt teeth.

LUVS SUPER ABSORBENT LEAKGUARDS

Feel
Dryness is paramount. Concerning comfort, nothing will make your infant feel more or less. Regarding the physical feel of the diapers, there’s no need to worry: both are cottony soft. Nevertheless, their different approaches to leak protection technology come with divergent results. The Pampers Cruisers come with a 20% longer absorbency patch than that of most diapers. Said patch guarantees 12 hours of leak security, and it’s wrapped up in a 3-way design that perfectly fits your infant with every move.

They’re lofty promises to be sure, but Pampers delivers on all of them. I couldn’t be more pleased.

Leak Barrier Leg Gathers and a Super Absorbent Leakguard Core are Luvs solutions to the leak problem, but you forget their industry jargon almost immediately. You’ll find that leaks attack in force against the Luvs, and that the lack of absorbency in their diapers will force you to make more changes. So much for the Luvs difference.

Cost
At 16¢ a diaper compared to 25¢, you’re going to see that Luvs is the more affordable option at Walmart’s online store. But when you consider the more frequent changes, you’re really not getting a great deal. Changing diapers twice as often, you’ll actually find yourself paying more dough for the less impressive and falsely-labeled product.

Conclusion
Pampers offer the better product in this competition, because after analyzing the discrepancies in each one and considering their implications, they surpass their rival in every comparable category.
